Close your eyes and picture the scene. You’re hungry and you’ve just ordered your favourite pizza. When the doorbell rings, you open the door to see a pizza delivery driver … but what are they wearing?
Chances are you’re picturing a blue and red uniform, a blue trucker cap, holding a big box of piping hot pizza. The Domino's delivery uniform has become totally iconic since opening its first UK store in Luton 40 years ago (as iconic, let’s say, as a slice of Original Cheese and Tomato dunked in that garlic and herb dip). And, now the classic look could be all yours.
To celebrate being "hot since '85", Domino’s has launched a new retro capsule collection. Inspired by their 80s roots, the collection serves up a heavy dose of nostalgia with rare uniform pieces and other collectable items.
So, what's in the collection…?
Created with cult vintage fashion collectors, Unified Goods, this limited-edition drop is unapologetically 80s and perfectly Domino’s. It features bold colour blocks in Domino’s signature red and blue, with vintage-inspired re-runs of original uniform pieces, including the Domino’s bomber jacket, polo shirt, and cap.
There’s also a bespoke screen-printed slogan T-shirt, socks adorned with their classic 80s tagline ‘one call does it all!’, and even a Domino’s bumper sticker.
It’s a fitting tribute to the four-decade-long service of the UK’s most-loved pizza brand. Since opening its Luton store in 1985, Domino's has grown and grown, reaching its 100th store just ten years later in 1995. Today, Domino's has over 1,300 stores across the UK and Ireland, serving more than 112 million freshly handcrafted pizzas a year.
Fans were also able to spot pieces from the collection in Domino’s throwback film, inspired by 80s video games and cult classic movies. The Domino’s uniforms sit side-by-side with other 80s hallmarks - think big hair, double denim, workout videos, Walkmans and Polaroids. It’s a visual trip back to a time when deliveries came with attitude.
Domino’s Chief Nostalgia Officer (because of course they have one), Melanie Howe, said: "This year is a significant milestone for us, marking 40 years since Domino's powered up its first oven in the UK in 1985, so it felt right to honour being 'hot since '85' with a piping hot drop that's bold, fun, and perfectly Domino’s."
The collection will be available to buy from Wednesday, 1st October 2025 for just 10 days, exclusively on Unified Goods. But don’t hang about, these pieces are set to fly out faster than hot slices of Pepperoni Passion on a night in with your mates.
