To all my frugal friends, listen up because DoorDash has a sweet deal for you this weekend that is simply too good to pass up.

DoorDash joined forces with some of Australia’s favourite local restaurants and will be offering delicious and affordable $1 menu items from today (Friday 26 May) until Sunday (May 28).

Between 2pm - 5pm, you can enjoy some of the most mouth-watering items from some of the best restaurants for just a dollar.

Even for the pickiest foodies, DoorDash will offer these exclusive $1 menus from over 1,800 merchants nationwide, so you’re bound to find something that tickles your pickle.

It’s getting frostier outside as winter is brewing, so what better way to spend your weekend than rugged up inside with a piping hot meal directly delivered to your doorstep?

But not to worry, even if you sign up now, this offer is available to new and existing DoorDash customers so everyone can indulge in a treat without breaking the bank.

“We’re excited to launch the $1 menu this weekend for all Australians to support their favourite hospitality outlets,” Rebecca Burrows, DoorDash General Manager New Zealand, Australia and Canada, said in a statement.

“With $1 menu items available at over 1,800 local merchants, new and existing customers can take advantage of these incredible deals indulging in delicious items such as pizzas, burgers, noodle soups, quesadillas, pasta and desserts - all just for $1!”

Renowned Australian Chef Shannon Martinez chose to hop on this promotion to encourage Aussies to support local this weekend.

"We're excited to take part in this weekend's offer with DoorDash and encourage people to get behind their local hospitality businesses," she said.

"At Smith and Deli we can't wait for people to try some of our vegan dishes for just one dollar.”

There will be a rotating roster of $1 meals from some of the tastiest restaurants, including Schnitz, Pie Face, Max Brenner, Spud Bar, Crust Pizza, Noodle Bar and many more.

To redeem your insanely cheap meal, all you have to do is simply use the unique promo code for each day at the DoorDash checkout: Friday 26th - FRISAVINGS, Saturday 27th - SATSAVINGS and Sunday 28th -SUNSAVINGS.

Make sure you’re signed up and bon appetit, friends!
