Wild Brawl That Broke Out Outside Australian School Caught On Camera

Wild Brawl That Broke Out Outside Australian School Caught On Camera

A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with the violent altercation that unfolded during the school run.

Shocked parents and students at Melton Secondary College in Melbourne have watched on in horror as a shirtless man exited his vehicle armed with what looked like to be a wooden pole.

In the footage, the man can be seen ramming the pole through another driver's open window.

According to Nine News, there were children in the car when the attack allegedly occurred.

In the now-viral footage, the driver dodged the pole and then burst out of his car and charged towards the shirtless man.

The pair was then seen trading blows with one another as the scuffle spilled onto the street and into the path of traffic on Coburns Road.

Witnesses watched on as one of the men allegedly threw the other into the side of a car driving along the street.

People could be seen jostling to get out of the two tussling men, while others could be seen pulling out their phones to capture the wild brawl on camera.

Nearby motorists were seen abandoning their cars to flee the mayhem.

The fiery fracas occurred as students were leaving the school grounds, just before 3.30pm on March 15.

"I didn't know what to do. I had my kids in the car and they started yelling," one witness told Nine News.

"I'm still panicked. I can see my body is shivering."

No one was seriously injured in the fray.

Victoria Police said the altercation led to three other cars colliding 'nose to tail'.

"A Melton man was arrested at the scene and has been charged with multiple offences including reckless conduct endangering life, affray and assault with a weapon," Victoria Police said in a statement.

After being quizzed by police, the man who was allegedly attacked through his window was allowed to drive off.
