It was a massive news for Cadbury fans when the chocolate giant announced it would be bringing back its popular Marble Chocolate block.

After eight long years from our shelves, the company finally threw us a bone. But one vital piece of information was missing: when will this happen?

That news has finally been handed down from the bigwigs at Cadbury headquarters.

Cadbury confirmed to news.com.au that the Marble will be returning on 17 April - which, as you may have noticed is next Friday.

Cadbury marketing director Paul Chatfield told News Corp: "Given the current climate, we're glad to bring a little joy to those around the country who have been calling for us to bring back Cadbury Dairy Milk Marble.

"Cadbury has been providing Australians with a welcome treat for over 100 years, particularly during times of need."

The roll-out of the Marble will also coincide with a shakeup of the Dairy Milk logo on Cadbury products.

For years, the company had been facing pretty loud calls from fans eager for the Marble to come back.

More than 20,000 people joined a Facebook page demanded the return of the chocolate block. In February, the company finally announced it was giving enthusiasts what they wanted.

Cadbury's statement read: "We have been absolutely blown away by the amount of support and love that you have for one of our classic flavours.

"Please be assured that every plea, petition and comment has been heard - and we have been working hard to bring back what you want. We can officially confirm we're bringing Cadbury Dairy Milk Marble back and it's because of each and every one of you."

So, we just need to get through the Easter weekend and then surely it won't take long to get to next Friday.

The anticipation is killing us.
