Chocolate Orange Gin Is Here And It's Available At Discount Price
With World Chocolate Day just around the corner on 7 July, and gin being the drink of the moment - what better way to celebrate than to combine the two? Clearly not just for Christmas, this new chocolate orange flavoured gin is available on Amazon, and as if someone had sensed we're patiently waiting on payday, it's also on offer.
Priced at £21.95, it's reduced from its RRP of £33.95 - that's a huge 35% discount, making it a bit too easy to justify as a present to yourself for making it through another month. It looks as though stocks on Amazon are running low, but don't worry, you can also find it here.
And for the 'no carbs before Marbs' crew, guess what? It's also sugar free. Usually this type of indulgent booze is packed full of carbohydrates - so if that's a deal breaker, you are in luck.
The description from the brand reads: "It combines the richness of chocolate, the refreshing qualities of oranges and the deliciousness of gin to form something terrific - Chocolate Orange Gin!
"Bitter orange peels and roast cacao nibs get all up in the mix during distillation, alongside some traditional gin botanicals, lending the spirit distinctive notes that'll be familiar to lovers of the classic confectionery."
Its smell is described as: "Chocolate cake made with orange essence in the batter. Touches of peppery juniper cut through the sweetness," and it apparently tastes like "fresh clementine and enjoyably bitter cacao intermingle at the core, while floral elements bring lightness to the mixture."

OK, I'm sold.
That Boutique-y Gin Company is the business behind this work of art, and it also stocks a load of other flavours that have a bit more than your average gin.
Another that caught our eye was the 'spit-roasted pineapple' edition. If you're after something a bit more traditionally summery, this one sounds delish - with notes of 'intense pineapple upside down cake with gentle hints of toasted marshmallow' and the taste of 'rich roasted pineapple and fresh juicy-ness'.
Sounds like a classic BBQ bev to me.
Judging by the reviews, it's not all talk either.
One person posted: "Seriously fruity, unlike most flavoured gins you pop the cork on this and get a real strong pineapple smell and tastes equally as good. Perfect for a super fruity G n T. Certainly won't be the last bottle I buy! Great to support a small company too."
Another said: "Omg the best gin ever drink with ginger ale but be careful, I got very drunk as I kept putting more gin in my glass than mixer."
That sounds like my kind of gin.
