'Tis the season to be scared s***less, so why not haunt your mouth with a pizza topped with the world's hottest chillies?

Morrisons' Grim Reaper pizza is topped with Carolina Reaper hot sauce, blended with black garlic.

The Carolina Reaper comes in at over two million Scoville units, which is quite frankly way too hot. For context, that's 440 times hotter than a jalapeno.

It's probably worth picking up some milk while you're at it.

Is if that wasn't enough, there's also some birds eye chillies 'concealed' among hot nduja sausage, spicy chicken and a generous helping of fiery cheese. As such, it comes as no surprise that the pizza is emblazoned with a warning label.

Morrisons is offering up the petrifying pizza for a limited time only, so you'll have to be quick if you fancying burning your mouth to a cinder.

Leanne Cory, who has my dream job title of Pizza Buyer at Morrisons, said: "This pizza is one of the hottest and spookiest we've ever made. It is definitely not one for the faint-hearted, especially with the burn from the Carolina Reaper hot sauce."

You can pick one of the 14-inchers up from Morrisons pizza counters across the country until 1 November for £3.89.

Get 'em while they're hot.

Earlier this month, McDonald's launched a new spicy quarter pounder burger. It's basically the same as a regular quarter pounder burger, but it comes with pepper jack cheese, onions, jalapenos, mustard and a spicy ketchup. And it's more expensive - £4.79, compared to £3.49 for the regular one.

However, for a lot of people's tastes, it seems the burger is a bit too spicy.

One person tweeted: "The tomato sauce tastes like the Tabasco tomato sauce they had for the spicy nuggets. It just overpowered it, and that's all I could taste."

Another commented: "Seeing as the McDonald's spicy nuggets weren't very spicy, I thought I'd try the new spicy quarter pounder. I wish I hadn't, I now can't taste anything."

A third added: "Spicy quarter pounder sauce is too much. Spoils it."

Maccies is happy, though, with how the its new quarter pounder range has been received.

A spokesperson told The Sun: "Our new quarter pounder with cheese range has been an incredibly popular new launch.

"We're delighted to offer our customers the choice of dialling up or turning down the heat; from the spicy quarter pounder for fans of fiery food, to the new quarter pounder deluxe with cool mayo, there's something for everyone to enjoy."
