Judging from the picture uploaded to Reddit by user re1313, it seems like it's just got the fruit, a healthy lathering of cheese, a tomato base and potentially some ham slices.
The debate about pineapple on a pizza will continue to rage on for probably all eternity, but this creation seems utterly bizarre. The reaction on social media was deafening from the camp who thought it was an abomination.
One person wrote on Reddit: "This makes me unreasonably angry."
Another added: "This is the slippery slope that permitting pineapple has resulted in."
However, there were other people who thought it would be alright.
A user said: "I actually see this working with the right other ingredients. Kiwi has a similar flavor profile as pineapple."
Another said: "I don't think it would taste great. But do you know what? I'd give it a try. Pineapple on pizza gets a lot of crap and I actually quite like it."
But, it doesn't end there. Another viral creation is called Pizza Afrikana and can be bought at several restaurants in Sweden.
Toppings on this baffling creation typically include banana, mushrooms, peanuts and curry powder. That's a hell of a lot of things that just sound as if they shouldn't be on a pizza together.
This is apparently a thing because the first folk who opened pizza parlours in Sweden - as well as not necessarily having any Italian heritage whatsoever - just stuck any old thing that anyone wanted on top of a pizza.
Then there is Pizza a la Duck, which - you've guessed it - has a load of duck on it. Now that just might work...oh wait it also has mushrooms, blackcurrants and honey on it.
So if you want to have a more creative pizza, just head to Scandinavia and you'll have your mind blown.
