You Can Get A £14.99 Vodka That Tastes Like Grey Goose From Aldi
A £14.99 vodka from Aldi is being praised by shoppers, who say it boasts the exact same taste as its premium rival Grey Goose.
Aldi's Saint Germont Vodka bills itself as a 'beautifully pure premium vodka', with a product description reading: "Carefully crafted in the heart of France, Saint Germont Reserve vodka is made using French wheat and crystal clear water from the Charentes region. It is distilled five times for purity."
It has 36 five-star reviews online from happy customers, who say the spirit is 'Grey Goose without the price tag'.
One reviewer said: ""I do like a nice smooth vodka and this one is exactly that! Every bit as good as Grey Goose but half the price."
Someone else wrote: "Very nice, good quality vodka. The equivalent of a more expensive French brand."
Another said: "This is my go to vodka, on par with grey goose, fantastic value. Bottle looks good
too if you have guests round."
Some also said Aldi's version came out on top in blind taste tests, while others simply said it was 'really smooth'.

TikToker @brownfam21 was also a fan, having given the vodka a try and posted a video of the results online - saying Aldi's version has '100% the same taste' as Grey Goose in the caption.
In the video he says he picked up the bottle for 'about £11.99', although we've reached out to Aldi to see whether or not there are any in-store promotions on offer.
He says: "Right guys, I've bought this from Aldi, it's about £11.99, it's 40 percent proof and it's meant to be a Grey Goose."
He then throws some ice into a glass before removing the lid from the bottle, adding: "The top's got a cork in it, just like Grey Goose does."
After pouring himself a double shot over ice and giving it a taste, he gives the drink a '10/10' rating, saying: "Definitely the same taste - brilliant, fantastic."
If you're not doing Dry January (or want to get a bottle in as an incentive for after!) find Aldi's Saint Germont Vodka in store or online, costing £14.99 for 70cl - less than half the price of Grey Goose, which often costs upwards of £30.
