Footage Shows Phil Foden's Mum Getting Punched In Face Following Altercation

It's unclear where the footage of Phil Foden's mum took place, but many believe it to have occurred at the Khan Vs Brook fight in Manchester

Shocking footage has emerged on social media appearing to show Phil Foden's mum getting punched in the face. Watch below:

Claire Foden, 41, is shown confronting a group of men who call her son a 'c***' in the viral clip shared last night.

The brawl is believed to be backstage at the Amir Khan Vs Kell Brook fight in Manchester (19 February), however, the details of the location remain unconfirmed.

The Manchester City midfielder was seen trying to break up the altercation where a man looks to use a fire extinguisher as a weapon.

The 21-year-old looked to be confronted by a group of men, which some believe to be after City's 3-2 loss to Spurs earlier that day.

A woman also involved in the altercation appeared to shout: "Who you calling a c***?"

The couple then walked into a private room before Foden's mum Claire storms out of the room to her son's defense and asks the group: "Right, who's calling him?"

One of the men replied: "No one" before Claire says: "Right, then f*** off."

The 41-year-old mum then opted to push a man in a black jacket, which took him aback by several steps.

Another man then stepped in and attempted to punch her.

It's unclear whether he made contact.

Claire then looked to hit out at two of the men, where she appeared to repeatedly attempt to strike a man in the face.

This resulted in a brawl breaking out in the corridor, involving roughly seven people.

The man in the baseball cap was then seen to get hold of a fire extinguisher from the wall and attempted to hit someone with it.

It seems as if he smashed one of the men over the back of the head as he walked away.

England's midfielder Phil Foden, who was seen wearing a blue hoodie and jeans, attempted to stay clear of it but was seen briefly getting involved when trying to defend his mum.

It appeared as if the footballer made no real attempt to take part in the brawl.

LADbible has contacted Greater Manchester Police for comment.

A Manchester City statement read: “The club is aware of a video which has circulated on social media showing Phil Foden and his family being harassed and abused.

"We are shocked and appalled about the nature of the abuse and ensuing assault on one of Phil’s family member.

"We will continue to give Phil and his family all the support and assistance they need.”
