A fan who was widely reported to have fainted after Harry Styles fist bumped her on the final episode of The Late Late Show has spoken out to explain what really happened.

Viral footage shows a woman appearing to go down like a sack of spuds after her interaction with the ‘Watermelon Sugar’ singer.

Styles, 29, was a guest on James Corden’s final episode of The Late Late Show, joining a starry roster which also boasted Tom Cruise, Will Ferrell and Adele.

Styles, who once guest hosted The Late Late Show, teased a One Direction reunion on the show’s iconic 'Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts' segment.

Corden asked: “Yes or no, will there be a One Direction reunion? Will it ever happen?"

Styles responded: “I would never say never to that. I think if there was a time where we all felt like that was what we wanted to do, then I don't see why we wouldn't.”

Despite this, some fans were left disappointed after rumours had swirled that 1D would be reuniting for the final Late Late Show episode.

Nevertheless, plenty of Styles’ devotees were more than happy to get to see the ‘As It Was’ singer without him being joined by former bandmates Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik.

One fan who was definitely thrilled to see Styles was Cyndi H, who in viral footage appears to drop to the floor after being fist bumped by Styles.

People were obsessed with the moment, with one Twitter user writing: “This is so relatable. This is so me.”

A second said: “She’s real for that.”

A third added: “I would do the same, we love Harry Styles.”

Now Cyndi has spoken out about what really happened on Twitter, and it appears there’s more than meets the eye.

James Corden's sister Ange shared snaps from the Late Late Show afterparty.

She wrote: “THIS WAS ME AND I DID NOT FAINT. I simply gracefully melted into my seat after the man locked eyes w me.

“We locked eyes and I was SAT.”

Few would blame her if she did keel over after locking eyes with the Don’t Worry Darling star, but it turns out that’s not quite what went down.

Following his appearance on the show, Styles joined Cordon and Adele for a starry after party to celebrate the end of The Late Late Show.

Corden’s sister Ange shared snaps from the ‘do on her Instagram stories, revealing that the festivities continued until 4am and many margaritas were consumed.
