A YouTuber trained like a professional athlete every day for an entire month - and these were the insane changes he noticed in his body.
Ever feel like your attempts to eat healthy and complete three trips to the gym every week just aren't yielding the results you're after?
Well, why not train like one of your favourite professional athletes!
Unfortunately for most of us, this ambitious goal is quite a bit out of reach, mainly because we have those pesky things called jobs, which get in the way of our valuable training time.

However, one person who can devote his time to an intensive training routine is content creator Jack Massey Welsh, a YouTuber who often undertakes viral challenges on his account, JackSucksAtLife.
He once famously attempted to walk 100,000 steps in one day, so you can assume his body is pretty used to completing ambitious challenges.
This time around, Jack decided to see what would happen if he spent a month following an extreme fitness routine.

So, what is Jack's plan?

Intending to give himself zero days off for the following 30 days, Jack committed to completing one hour of cardio every morning, one hour of strength training five times a week, as well as 75 push-ups and five minutes of 'dead hanging' every day. Just to ensure the workout is absolutely brutal.
After completing his first day of the new fitness regime, Jack said that he was feeling achy and 'fatigued' from the workouts.
Only 29 more days to go, mate.
By the end of the workout, Jack noted an improvement in his strength and endurance. However, the real proof is in the final results.
"I actually feel pretty good," Jack said when reflecting on the month. "I definitely think my energy has improved even though I've been doing way more stuff."

The 29-year-old made sure to record his weight and measurements before embarking on the challenge and also used a smartwatch to record all of his workouts, meaning he had plenty of data to look back through.
His increased energy was definitely reflected in the results, which revealed his rate of recovery was above average for most days.
Jack also showed improvement in vitals such as his heart rate variability (time between heartbeats), which increased to 37 milliseconds
His weight did remain around 83kg for the entire month, although Jack did note that he was aiming for body recomposition over losing any weight.
When it came to final measurements, there weren't any significant changes. However, Jack did not realise that he's likely built muscle while also losing fat, meaning any overall changes would be small.

"My goal was to feel healthier, I think I've already achieved that," he added.
"Do I recommend trying this challenge yourself? Probably not. But I definitely would recommend a slightly more relaxed version.
