Court issues order against teenager who got 15-year-old girlfriend pregnant

A young lad who got his teenage girlfriend pregnant when he was just 12-years-old has now been forbidden from having sleepovers with her, a court has ruled.

Hunter Johnson, who is now 14, is now no longer able to 'stay overnight' at the home of his 15-year-old girlfriend, Bella Vaughn.

For those wondering why this complicated teenage relationship has been hitting the headlines, it's because the pair appeared in the TLC documentary series Unexpected last month.

The series takes a 'raw look at teenage pregnancies and the impact on their families' and due to the tender ages of these two, their journey into parenthood has been followed intently by viewers.

Bella - who has since amassed a huge following on TikTok - was 14 when her boyfriend, who is around two years younger than her, impregnated her.

In a clip shared to social media, she claimed that her other half turned 13 just a few days later and said: "I understand it doesn’t make it any better.

"I understand he was sexually ready faster than I was, and that’s OK, but I was ready when we had sex. You can all stop saying that it was illegal and that I raped him because I didn’t.

"It was both intentional. On both sides, people have already said that. We’ve already talked to the cops about it. It was consensual."

The young girl also insisted she 'did not ruin' Hunter's life and 'gave him the option' of walking away, adding: "He chose to stay with me. He chose to take care of our baby."

Bella, who is from Arkansas, gave birth to their son, Wesley, in March last year.

In an episode of Unexpected, Hunter shared his thoughts on becoming a father at such a young age, saying: "I was 12 when I found out I was going to be a dad. Now I’m 13. I did not think I would be finishing 8th grade and becoming a dad at the same time."

His mother Stacie Riddle also featured in the show and she told viewers how Hunter's relationship with his dad Casey Johnson 'fell apart after Bella got pregnant', as he claimed his son had 'ruined' his life.

Court documents have now revealed the complex family dynamic that is at play, as Casey filed a petition to get full custody of the 14-year-old in April last year.

He alleged that the teen was living in an 'unstable and unwholesome environment' while in the care of his mother, according to Us Weekly.

Casey claimed that his son lived with him up until 2024, before moving in with Stacie. The dad alleges that Stacie then allowed Hunter to 'move in with his girlfriend who became pregnant soon after'.

After Stacie asked the judge to dismiss his bid for full custody of their teenage son, Casey was awarded temporary joint custody in November last year.

At the dad's request, Hunter is now banned from being allowed to 'live with' Bella or her family and can no longer sleep over at her house.

The temporary custody order that is in place states: "Neither party shall allow the minor child to stay overnight at a romantic partner’s house."

The parents custody battle over Hunter remains ongoing.
