Man CC'd Into Job Rejection Email By Mistake

Well, that's awkward.

A man has revealed that he was CC’d into a private HR job rejection email by mistake. Watch how the awkward encounter went here:

Alexander, who goes by @noveltygay on TikTok, made light of the very awkward email thread in a recently uploaded video on the platform.

The video, which was paired with a screenshot of the email he was looped into from a cafe’s hiring manager, read: “Yeah breakups hurt and stuff but have y’all ever been CC’d on hr emails talking about why they don’t want to hire you? [sic]”.

The Tiktoker gave some context to the viral video, explaining in a separate TikTok that he had applied for the company three different times, including three weeks prior to making the video, as well as in December.

Alexander explained that he saw in the accidental HR email that they chose not to hire him as he failed to show up for an interview in December.

The screenshot behind Alexander saw the manager emailing: “Well that’s interesting okay so let’s reject him…”

Alexander added in the video’s caption: “Hate it here.”

He said in the video: “They had supposedly sent me an interview time for this company, I had never gotten it.

“I applied again later on and this email proved to me that they had thought they sent me interview times and they had not. It was not my fault I didn’t show up for the interview.”

The TikTok star said the situation was difficult for him as he wouldn’t have done a “no call, no show” for a job interview, given that he explained he was “knocked on my a** broke as s***”.

Alexander simply replied with “ouch” to the no-doubt upsetting email thread, before sending a follow-up to the HR members of staff to clarify the fact that he tried to set up an interview in December but never received a response.

The social media mogul wrapped up his response by stating that he doesn’t wish to work for a “disorganised” company and clarified that he is a “good” employee who has trained with “nationally certified baristas”.
