Katy Perry has left viewers in stitches as she struggles to find a seat at Westminster Abbey during King Charles III's historical coronation today (6 May).

The 'Firework' hit-maker was clearly having some difficulty with the seating arrangement, as she can be seen aimlessly wandering around the crowds and desperately searching for a place to park up for the big event.

Footage of the blunder is now making its rounds on social media and, let's just say, people are not holding back.

Perry rocked up to Westminster Abbey this morning to celebrate the momentous occasion, but it's clear that things didn't go all that smoothly for her when she couldn't find her seat.

Footage from the event has since gone viral on Twitter with thousands upon thousands weighing in to share their hilarious reactions to her major fail.

One Twitter user posted: "Can't they have an usher or something, why they embarrassing their guests like this?"

Others, however, were not so sympathetic with many blaming the star's headwear for the awkward ordeal.

"The way she's trying to look for her seat with that hat, it's adorable and funny at the same time," penned a second Twitter user.

A third added: "She can't see over her bloody hat lol."

"How can she find her seat when she has fishing net over her head?" echoed a fourth.

"I hope that hat doesn't block the view of folks behind her," wrote another, clearly concerned, Twitter user.

Some, however, found the whole thing endearingly adorable.

One Twitter user admitted: "She like me frfr."

Another found the whole thing all too relatable, revealing: "Same! I’ll be so lost there too!"

"Me but in the supermarket after they changed the placement of sweets alley," put forward a third.

Perry joins many other celebrity A-listers for King Charles' coronation before performing at the ceremonious concert tomorrow (7 May) alongside the likes of fellow American Idol judge, Lionel Richie, alongside legendary boyband, Take That, Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli and Welsh bass-baritone belter Sir Bryn Terfel.

The star will be staying at Windsor Castle this evening after the day's events have come to an end and has since revealed just how 'excited' she is for the grand sleepover.

"I'm really excited… I might be posting a lot because I'm gonna be in a castle, for real. This is wild," she told Extra TV.

Talking about her coronation invite, the pop icon revealed: "It was very regal. It was like a cursive I have never seen [before]… I loved it."
