Cereal lovers have been dealt quite the blow this morning after learning that Kellogg's has ditched Frosties from its cereal variety pack.
The bargain variety pack made breakfast time all the more fun for kids across the land. You could choose from Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies, Coco Pops and until this year, Frosties as well.
So, from this day forth children will no longer be able to feast on the sugary sweet goodness of Frosties cereal as part of the pack.

It all started when a disappointed cereal customer posted a snap of their recently purchased variety pack in which there wasn’t much variety at all.
In fact, it had four mini boxes of Rice Krispies, three boxes of Coco Pops and one box of Corn Flakes.
The customer tweeted the official Kellogg’s Twitter account and complained: “@KelloggsUKI not much ‘variety’ in here lads. 3 x Coco Pops. Letting yourselves being bullied into removing the Frosties? Piss poor, won’t be buying again.”
The customer soon got a reply from the cereal giant, who confirmed that Frosties had been dismissed from the variety packs.
“We can confirm that we have recently taken the decision to remove Frosties from the variety pack,” the food company responded.
“Thank you for expressing your thoughts about the change, please be assured that we will pass this sentiment back to our marketing department.
Famous for its cartoon mascot Tony the Tiger, the cereal has been ditched from the pack and replaced with more boxes of either Coco Pops or Corn Flakes which have been deemed ‘healthier’ options.
A spokesperson has told LADbible that the variety pack has gone through reinventions since 1958 when it was first introduced, to ‘meet the needs of our shoppers’. The statement also says the remaining cereals – Coco Pops, Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies Multigrain Shapes are all low in fat, salt and sugar.
The spokesperson said: “Our Variety Pack was first introduced in 1958 and since then, we’ve continued to adapt it to meet the needs of our shoppers.
“We are committed to helping people make healthier choices in the morning, which is why we made the decision to remove Frosties from our Variety Packs earlier this year.
“You’ll now be able to find Coco Pops, Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies Multigrain Shapes in each pack – all of which are non-HFSS cereals.’’
Frosties contains 37g of sugar per 100g, which is more than two-times more the sugar in Coco Pops and four times more than in Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies.
After campaigners have called for the amount of sugar and salt in children’s cereal to be cut, the removal of Frosties means the variety pack can fall in line with the government’s legislation on tackling obesity and can be classed as a non-HFSS (high in fat, sugar or salt) product.
That being said, let’s spare a moment’s silence for our beloved mini-pack Frosties.
