An Aussie TikToker has made light of the differences between university at home and abroad.

In the video, the TikTok user, known as hrikensjsehduje, is seen staring in bewilderment.

The caption reads: 'Australians going on university exchange to the US and it's the same level of difficulty as year 8.'

The short clip is backed by the popular backing track of an Australian man saying 'The Aussie was too stunned to speak.'

TikTokers were quick to back the proposition.

"No I literally got like 98 per cent in all my classes in the US and I had like a 70 average in Australia," one user said.

Others, however, weren't so sure the Australian education system was up to scratch.

"It's not like Australian schooling is that impressive though. We are far below many countries," another user said.

The popular theme has been used by Aussies on TikTok to reveal their confusion about everything from Americans not knowing what Milo is, to the country's legal drinking age.
