A Furphy Crisp beer truck has gone viral after it was found stuck between two office buildings in Hunter street in Sydney’s CBD, sending bystanders into hysterics while asking themselves, ‘What the truck?’

Talk about being caught between a rock and a hard place.

The event unfolded on Wednesday, April 27, during daybreak in a quiet street of the business district.

Though it’s still unclear how the Furphy Crisp Lager truck became trapped, the vehicle was firmly wedged between two buildings, unable to escape from the tight space.

Many onlookers were taken back by the sight, scratching their heads as to how the driver had pulled off such a stunt.

Miraculously no one was harmed, but many pedestrians gathered around, capturing the moment on their phones.

One woman even empathised with the driver of the Furphy truck while regarding the experience as truly ‘bizarre’.

She said: “The driver must have had a bad day. It’s the bizarrest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s clearly not due to drivers' lack of attention to road signs.

“How did the truck did that get up there?”

Another witness said: “The truck is wedged in between two buildings and appears to have been placed there to look like an accident.

“Things must have escalated quickly.”

The beer truck has since gone viral as many captured the unbelievable incident, posting photos to Twitter and Instagram.

While the truck took a slight detour, maybe the brand should be thankful for the free promotion, as Furphy Crisp Lager is a label that is certainly on everyone’s lips after today.

Funnily enough, Furphy’s ideology when it comes to the crisp lager founded in Geelong is ‘commitment to unbelievable stories.’

And look, while we know indulging in a pint or schooner at the pub can sometimes lead to amazing content to share at the next dinner party, there’s no doubt this stunt definitely takes the cake.

‘Unbelievable’ to say the least.

Furphy has since contacted the driver, but he is yet to provide a comment.
