The humble Bunnings snag is set to rise in price for the first time in 15 years.
The rising cost of living has seen people snapping off broccoli stalks in supermarkets, and we've all felt that pinch when trying to buy lettuce.
But this; this is an outrage.

A sausage in bread from a Bunnings sausage sizzle will soon set you back $3.50 (£1.99) instead of $2.50 (£1.42) at stores across Australia.
The move will kick in from July 23 in order to combat the rising cost of ingredients.
The price of drinks will thankfully remain at $1.50 (£0.85).
While that money does go back into the community - which is great, of course - it just goes to show that nothing is safe from the rising cost of living. Not even the iconic Bunnings snag, a cornerstone of Aussie culture.

The humble Bunnings snag has retained its price of $2.50 for the last 15 years, despite the price of food and non-alcoholic drinks rising by more than 51 per cent in that time, ABS data indicates.
Bunnings revealed the change as 100 community groups told the Aussie hardware superstore that the rising cost of supplies was having an impact on fundraising efforts.
"The inflationary environment has certainly meant that many of our community groups have come to us and asked for this change,’" Bunnings managing director Mike Schneider told the Herald Sun.
"We understand very much the really important role the humble snag plays in the community’s psyche."
He added: "And undoubtedly any change in price, particularly in the current environment, is something that is going to gather some level of attention."

The price is the only change, with the fundraising system and basic sausage in bread recipe to remain the same.
“It’s a pretty simple recipe it’s a snag, a bit of bread and some sauce and onion to taste,’’ Schneider told the Herald Sun.
He added: "But what it does is really help raise much needed funds for local community groups … whether it’s the local school or sporting club or to do something in the community."
Bunnings has helped raise more than $140 million (£79.5 million) for charities in the past five years.

An average sausage sizzle fundraiser earns each individual charity between $800 (£454) and $900 (£511), as per the Herald Sun.
All funds raised by Bunnings sausage sizzles will continue to go straight to the pockets of the community groups involved.
