Dad Burns $3,500 Worth Of Olivia Rodrigo Tickets Because Venue Demands Attendees Be Vaccinated For Covid-19

The anti-vaxxer posted the video in an attempt to take a stand against Olivia Rodrigo's 'Sour' tour, despite already paying the money.

These anti-vaxxers are wild.

One father has gone to some expensive lengths to apparently ‘take a stand’ against vaccines after burning Olivia Rodrigo tickets worth $3,500.

Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour tour requires attendees 13 years and older to be vaccinated against Covid-19 while providing proof of vaccination.

The rules mandate that a negative PCR or antigen test result will not be accepted for entry.

The move was made in partnership with President Joe Biden to encourage Americans to receive their vaccines.

But damn Rodrigo for trying to make her concert safe for everyone attending, right?

One anti-vaxxer definitely thinks so, as he filmed himself setting those very expensive tickets up in flames and throwing them in the trash.

He also went on with some monologue that he probably believed to be some sort of inspirational speech.

"Mums, dads, kids, teens, there comes a point in life where you got to take a stand," the unnamed dad said.

"Take a stand a stand for your values. It’s not always the easiest thing to do.

"You don’t have to be right but start taking a stand for what’s right."

Tears are coming to my eyes.

He continued: "You’re looking at $3,500 in concert tickets to a concert that wants to control me, that wants to tell you and I what to put in our bodies.

"And the bottom line is, create a life that you are in personal control of what goes into your body.

"Don’t get bullied by a system or people or anyone to do something that compromises or sacrifices exactly what you’re meant to do in the life you’re meant to do, in the life you’re meant to lead. Take a stand folks."

Wow, you sure showed her.

Firstly, I don’t think the Olivia Rodrigo tour is exactly directed toward your demographic mate, and secondly, I don’t think the Sour singer minds one bit if you don’t turn up.

The cash is well and truly already in her pocket.

I don’t think he’s is getting across the message as deftly as he thinks he is, but no matter.

Other Republicans didn't seem to mind.

Arizona candidate Kari Lake posted the video to her Instagram, captioning the video: "Watch this! Doug is a hero. We can’t let Hollywood influencers try to control our children or force people to get a vaccine against their will.

"Thank you, Doug, for being a strong patriotic American and a great father."

Well, there you go. Bet his daughter was really thrilled by the ticket burning.
