Donald Trump Believes He's The 'Most Honest Human Being That God Ever Created'

Donald Trump Believes He's The 'Most Honest Human Being That God Ever Created'

Despite repeatedly lying about the 2020 US Election results, the former US President reckons he's a saint.

Everyone knows Donald Trump thinks pretty highly of himself, however he's just reminded the world how high that bar is.

The former US President believes no one is more honest than him.

During a rally in North Carolina, Trump hit out at the investigations into his tax dealings as well as the 2020 US Election.

"You know, you've been investigated years and years, millions and millions of pages of documents, they found nothing," he said.

"You are the cleanest on Earth when you think about it."

He added: "I think I'm the most honest human being, perhaps, that God ever created."

The claim sparked a flurry of applause, cheers and even a few laughs, according to The Independent.

Considering Donald Trump has continued to lie about how the federal election two years ago was 'rigged' against him, it's fairly bizarre that he reckons he's the most honest person on the planet.

Maybe he just really believes the voting was rigged.

According to Newsweek, he compared himself to actual criminals to further drive home this squeaky clean image he holds of himself.

"I've been investigated by the Democrats more the Billy the Kid, Jessie James and Al Capone combined. And in all cases I've been innocent," he said.

In addition to the investigations into his tax affairs, Trump has also endured two impeachment trials, which is the most any US President has ever endured.

It's especially outrageous considering he only ran a one-term administration.

The Guardian reports how the US Attorney General is under increasing pressure to charge Trump over the January 6 Capitol attack.

Merrick Garland is reportedly being encouraged to expand the US Department of Justice’s investigation to include the former US President.

But former justice inspector general Michael Bromwich told the news outlet that investigators are still trying to build a case about what happened on that day from the ground up.

"It is almost surely the most complex criminal investigation in the nation’s history, involving the most prosecutors, the most investigators, the most digital evidence – and the most defendants,” he said.

"People view the scores of ongoing criminal prosecutions of participants in the January 6 insurrection as somehow separate from the investigation of Trump. They are not.

"He is the subject of the investigation at the top of the pyramid. People need to carefully watch what is happening, not react based on their impatience.”
