The staffer was one of several who post proof of their lewd acts in Australia's political heartland.

A Liberal Party staff member has been sacked following the leaking of 'disgusting' and 'sickening' images.

The worker allegedly masturbated over a female MP's desk in Parliament, which was one of a number of lewd acts committed by several staff.

A Canberra whistleblower spoke to 10 News First about the secret network of political staffers who exchange images and videos of themselves performing sexual acts in Australia's political heartland.

The leaker, known only as Tom, told the TV network: "The fact that it is a female MP only adds to the disgrace that it is. It is surprising and I think a lot of people will be stunned.

He said there were other images that were shared between the staff that were 'so bad' and 'shocking' that they couldn't be shown.

In one image, a staffer took a picture of him exposing himself in an office with the Parliament rule book in the background.

Another picture illustrated a man pointing to the desk belonging to the female MP where a staffer masturbated over.

"The culture needs to change and now is the time to speak up, now is the time to put it on the record," the whistleblower said.

"It is a culture of men thinking that they can do whatever they want."

Tom said there is a Facebook Messenger group where the staff send the acts they commit and there have been so many images and videos sent that he says he's become immune to it.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has been shocked and appalled by the revelation and says one staffer has been immediately sacked.

"The reports aired tonight are disgusting and sickening," the PM said in a statement.

"It's not good enough, and is totally unacceptable. The people who come to work in this building are better than this.

"The actions of these individuals show a staggering disrespect for the people who work in Parliament, and for the ideals Parliament is supposed to represent.

"Everyone has a right to feel safe at work. I will have more to say on this and the cultural issues we confront as a Parliament in coming days."

He has urged anyone with information about other staff members should come forward so they can stamp out bad behaviour.

But that wasn't the only massive revelation.

Whistleblower Tom said a prayer or meditation room on the upper level of Parliament House has been used by Coalition MPs for sex.

He said he's used the room for that purpose on at least one occasion, adding: "I can probably say there is very little meditation or prayer going on in that room."

Tom said male and female sex workers had been brought into Parliament House 'for the pleasure of Coalition MPs'.
