A man on TikTok has managed to predict the daily coronavirus numbers for New South Wales for the last three days straight.

Jon-Bernard Kairouz has uploaded videos before each day and not only got close but absolutely nailed it.

He got the 97 for Tuesday (July 14), the 65 for yesterday (July 15) and secured the 97 for today (July 16).

All his videos are posted well before the numbers are presented at the daily 11am press conference and always after the 8pm cutoff.

Mr Kairouz spoke to Fitzy and Wippa on their radio program ahead of today's figures and explained the method to his madness.

"Look I have, we put in the hard yards last night, me and my brothers, we put the algorithm together and it's been working. We take everything into account, the circumference of the community, the number of active cases," he said.

He added that his daily posts are starting to blow up on the social media app.

"Look there's been a few anonymous calls, a bit more threatening. I said look I'm doing the community a favour and it's not like I'm doing anything wrong or unethical, it's just maths and cold hard numbers," he told the presenters.

"Honestly there's rumours and conspiracy theories flying around that I'm related to Gladys or her nephew or related to her new boyfriend, that's not the case. It's numbers mate, that's all I can say, it's a solid formula.

"I work at a college as a janitor and sometimes I'll see an equation on a whiteboard and I can just finish it. I feel like I'm smarter than most of the kids there!"

Many have questioned whether he's a mole or has a contact in the New South Wales Health department, as that could be the source of Jon-Bernard's data.

Or, he could just be really good at working out trends, patterns and numbers.

The bloke's impressive track record has become so big that a reporter even asked Premier Gladys Berejiklian about it at today's briefing.

She said: "All we can do is focus on the job at hand and I know at the moment a lot of people have or alleged to have various bits of unmet information and advice.

"What is important for us as a team, team New South Wales, is to focus on what is necessary and that is to lead our state during the most challenging of times."
