Teen Mortified After Mum Signs Her Up To Love Island Without Her Permission

A hilarious TikTok has gone viral after a young woman revealed her mother signed her up for Love Island without her consent.

Kris Jenner works hard, but this US mum works harder.

Rylee Schindler posted the video, sharing that her mother had pretended to be the 19-year-old while applying for the love-seeking reality show.

In the video, she shared screenshots from a text thread with her mum that reads: “Good morning unicorn! What’s your email?”

It’s already clear she’s up to something..

A few hours later, her mother sends another message which says: “FYI (For Your Information). If you get a call from a casting director from Love Island….I submitted your application.

“One of the questions was… what do you want to get out of your experience of Love Island?”

And this we gotta hear, money? Fame? Money and fame? A sponsorship with the latest detox juice.

To which the mother says: “Your answer was..to be discovered so you can pursue your music career.”

Well, we appreciate honesty. Who needs love when you could be the next Olivia Rodrigo?

Her mum then added some very savage details: “If you happen to find your ‘person’ that would be lovely too. Oh. I put in you’re bisexual and a virgin and not willing to hook up. You’re Welcome.”

If these attributes aren’t all true, my god, is this woman trying to derive a narrative from her daughter’s ‘background' rather desperately.

The text exchange revealed that even a few hours later, her daughter still hadn’t replied, to which her mother said: “Hello?”

The video, which has accumulated 183,000 views, had many amused with the mother’s attempt to make her child a star.

One person wrote: “The way she asked for your email three hours before.”

Another said: “Everything about this screenshot is magnificent like top to bottom.”

A third person commented: “She woke up that day at 6 am and really decided to jump-start your career.”

Another wrote: “‘Good morning you unicorn!’ mum conjuring the bisexuality on your application.”

While another marvelled over the supportive parent writing: “LMAO I LOVE YOUR MOM BAHAHAHA we need a mom reveal. She’s so supportive and sweet.”

We just hope if this teen ends up on Love Island and it kick starts her music career, she at least owes her mum 10 per cent, just like the Kardashian matriarch.
