Scott Morrison Caught Following Turkish Models Instagram Account

The Australian Prime Minister is now not following the page.

Scott Morrison's Instagram account has been caught out following something very different to the norm.

While world leaders will probably all follow each other and have cool group chats, they largely have to keep everything very professional.

Which is why it was interesting when journalist Cam Wilson took a peek at who Scott Morrison was interested in.

The Australian Prime Minister was following 502 people when Cam did his investigation and one of those accounts belonged to a page promoting Turkish models.

It's unclear how long the PM had been following the account, but it was confirmed to be both in Mr Morrison's following section and in Baddies Star's followers.

If you check both sections now there is no trace Scott Morrison following the account, however Mr Wilson's video proves it definitely did in the past.

It could have been the person who manages the Prime Minister's Instagram account's fault, or there could be a much more bizarre and slightly more reasonable reason.

Mr Morrison wasn't the only Aussie politician to be following the account, with Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Queensland Liberal MP Warren Entsch also implicated in the awkward following.

However, despite having more than 114,000 followers, Baddies Star only has photos going back a few days.

If you check the page's tagged photos there are loads of photos of beautiful areas in Queensland, leading many to believe the account used to belong to the state's tourism board.

The page could have been hacked or sold to someone in Turkey to hype up a bunch of models. Interestingly, the page now doesn't exist on Instagram. The plot thickens.

So, it's not nearly as exciting as the Australian Prime Minister following a racy account to give him a break from scrolling through his international counterpart's daily updates.

But it was pretty funny seeing a world leader attached to something called Baddies Star.

It's not nearly as bad as when the Pope was caught liking an Instagram model's risque picture.

Natalia Garibotto noticed the @franciscus account had liked a photo of her in a very brief schoolgirl outfit. Once that news quickly spread across social media, the like mysteriously disappeared.

Natalia Garibotto said the Pope didn't slide into her DMs, but after the news went viral she tweeted: "At least I'm going to heaven."

She later told Barstool Sports: "My mum may hate my ass pics but the Pope be double-tapping."
