Sydney Aquarium Has Started Doing A Bottomless Painting Class

You'll get an endless supply of beer or wine and nibbles while you paint your surroundings.

Alcoholic painting classes have popped up all over Australia and they are a bloody good time (as long as you don't get too sloshed).

Essentially, you rock up to the class and spend the next two to three hours trying to recreate what the instructor has done while sipping your booze. Usually, it's a picture of a cat or a vista that's both beautiful and easy to paint.

But if you wanted to have a bit more freedom and awaken your senses then Sydney's SEA LIFE Aquarium is going to be your place.

The animal park has teamed up with Cork & Canvas to do a bottomless painting session that sounds absolutely epic.

You'll be treated to a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival and then you get access to as much free beer or wine that you can drink without getting sloppy. Not only that, but you can balance the alcohol with free gourmet grazing platters, filled with assorted meats, cheese, antipasti and breads.

Cork & Canvas has aptly called this experience Champainting and we can't wait to sign up.

A statement on its website states: "At Sea Life Sydney Aquarium your Cork & Canvas experience will start with exclusive after-hours access with 45mins free time to explore the aquarium, away from the day time crowds.

"You will encounter some of the world's most incredible animals along the way, including, huge sharks, mysterious stingrays, jellyfish, seahorses, thousands of tropical fish and much, much more.

"You will then enter the day and night on the great barrier reef zone, arrival drinks will be served in our glowing world of jellies & you will explore a reef island under the moonlight and splash through waves of bioluminescent algae."

Painters will be stationed at SEA LIFE's Turtle Beach and will be instructed on how to paint a beautiful and colourful turtle. But, considering you will be surrounded by nature, you can paint whatever takes your fancy and attention.

The painting class kicks off at 7pm and will go for two hours. But the best part is the bottomless food and drink goes for three hours, but please make sure you drink responsibly. Tickets cost $130, which is pretty decent for access to the aquarium after dark, booze, food and painting.

No one wants to see that 'one person' who gets a little too randy and decides to hop into one of the enclosures. That's just sad.
