Canberra was blessed with hilarious Vote 1 for Homer Simpson signs last week and everyone got a decent laugh out of it.
The Australian Capital Territory is on the cusp of an election and a prankster had planted a bunch of these signs next to genuine candidates.
But it seems like the person who is doing all this hilarity hasn't stopped at Homer.

Vote 1 for Ralph Wiggum signs have now been seen in the ACT and that is one hell of a candidate to get behind.
The brilliant child is the leader of the 'Pick A Winner' party and his campaign slogan says: "When I grow up I want to be Chief Minister or a caterpillar."
People on social media thought the prank was both brilliant yet slightly worrying.One person said: "This is awesome."

Another added: "This is hilarious."
However, there were also some people who were concerned that stunts like this detract from an election, among other things.
One user said: "They should be banned for being a distraction. Also for increasing road rage."
This person went all out with this comment: "ALL those signs should be banned, outright. If you vote for some f***head because you drove past a sign that said nothing other than 'vote for me', what hope has this country got? The signs are a a f***ing eyesore and provide absolutely NO information about the candidate, save their stupid name."

Look, anyone getting upset about Ralph running for public office needs their priorities checked.
While (hopefully) everyone knows that this is a joke, it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility for a territory that once had the Sun-Ripened Warm Tomato Party, the Party! Party! Party!, the Pyjama Party, the Abolish Self Government Party and the Surprise Party.
Who knows how many more of the Homer and Ralph signs will pop up between now and October 17 when people head to cast their ballot. We wonder if some people we get disappointed when they don't see the Simpsons cast on the voting sheet.
