A Michael Jackson impersonator in Las Vegas took down a man who he claims slapped him while he was trying to work. See how it plays out below:

In the clip a man in a green t-shirt, which rather aptly reads ‘can’t fix stupid’, approached MJ impersonator Santana Jackson and started lashing out with his hands.

Unfortunately for the green t-shirt fella, when he’s not pretending to be Michael Jackson, Santana is a wrestler and he made short work of taking his would-be assailant to the ground.

The footage shows MJ was clearly in the mood for playing, as the pair started grappling on the ground, before Jackson managed to get the better of the bloke and wrapped his arms around his neck in a chokehold.

The man’s eyes can be seen closing, while someone in the gathered crowd can be heard saying: “He’s out.”

At this point, it seems as though some passersby decide to intervene and the men are separated and the bloke is back on his feet.

But it appears he’s still keen to have a pop at the King of Pop and can be seen pulling some dodgy move towards the impersonator before the clip ends.

Santana said the attack came from nowhere and stressed that he hadn’t intended to hurt the man.

In a post on Instagram, he explained: “That's why I train I'm not trying to hurt this guy just trying to restrain him from swinging at me

“So I was performing and this guy came out of nowhere and started hitting me so I have to put him down for his own good.

“Please know I don't think fighting is the answer so try to avoid a fight if you can. Stay safe.”

The video was filmed on Freemont St in Las Vegas and has picked up more than two million views since it was shared online by Marcus Deegan.

As you can imagine, it’s attracted plenty of attention online with one person commenting: “Can you imagine being taken down by a Michael Jackson impersonator? How do you ever come back from that?”

Another joked: “I’m pretty sure this isn’t how he pictured his trip to Vegas going.”

While a third person went through a lot of Jacko’s back catalogue to write: “Oh lord that smooth criminal just took down that streetwalker to get on the floor, rocked his world and left blood all over the dance floor. Oh well, I guess that’s just human nature… 2 bad.. I’ll see myself out.. Don’t wanna be startin’ somethin’.”
