Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher Raise $30 Million In 'Stand With Ukraine' Campaign

The That 70s Show stars have hit their fundraising goal after launching the 'Stand With Ukraine' campaign two weeks ago.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have successfully reached their goal of raising USD$30 million to go towards Ukrainian refugees in just two weeks.

The That 70s Show stars announced their ‘Stand With Ukraine’ GoFundMe fundraiser earlier this month and promised the proceeds would provide support to humanitarian aid efforts in the war torn country.

Mila Kunis, who is Ukrainian born, said in the video: “I have always considered myself an American, a proud American… But today, I have never been more proud to be a Ukrainian.”

Kutcher added: “And I’ve never been more proud to be married to a Ukrainian.”

The pair would also later announce they would be matching donations up to USD$3 million to the cause.

In a new video posted to Ashton Kutcher’s Twitter page yesterday (March 17) the couple revealed they had reached their goal.

"We just want to say that we hit our goal," said Kunis. "Over 65,000 of you donated. We're overwhelmed with gratitude for the support. And while this will far from solve the problem, our collective effort will provide a softer landing for so many people as they forge ahead into their future of uncertainty.

The donations will go towards housing and ensuring supplies and resources go towards the area in which refugees fleeing.

Kutcher continued in the video: “Our work is not done.

“We're gonna do everything we can to ensure that the outpouring of love that came from you all as a part of this campaign finds the maximum impact with those in need.

“As funding continues to come in, we're going to treat every dollar as if it's being donated out of our pocket, with respect and honour for the work that went into earning it, with the intent of love through which it was given and the desire for it to be maximised for positive outcome for others."

Top donors to the cause included Larry Ellison, DST Global, Josh Kushner and Karlie Kloss Foundation, Clayton Kershaw, the Laura R. Witherspoon Charitable Giving Account, and Amy Schumer.

Kunis concluded: “We again want to say thank you so much for your continued support. Please don't stop donating, whether to us or other unbelievable foundations out there.

“This is just a beginning to a very, very, very long journey."
