According to Forbes' top-earning dead celebrities list for 2016 - which is kind of hard to believe is an actual thing - Michael Jackson raked in more than any star ever has in a 12-month period.
Jacko, who is literally epitomising his song 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' by still bringing in the bunse from beyond the grave, cashed in a reported amount of £677 million last year.
How the late singer managed to make more than any other celeb ever has in a year, alive or dead, is down to the sale of half of his Sony/ATV publishing catalogue. He (I say he but he wasn't involved in the sale, for obvious reasons), made £615 million from that alone.
MJ has dominated the annual list for deceased celebrities since 2009 - I'll let you decide if that's a good thing or not - topping the list every year apart from in 2012.
Other artists such as Elvis, Prince, Bob Marley and John Lennon cracked the top 10 for this year's top-earning dead celebrities, which Forbes compiled by estimating the pre-tax income of the deceased from October 1 2015 through to October 1 2016, subtracting fees for people working on behalf of them.
Lend us a tenner, Jacko?
