Tekashi 6ix9ine Unfollows Everyone Except for NYPD On Instagram

Never one to keep a low profile, the 24-year-old rapper then turned to Instagram Stories to ask his followers about 'snitching'.

A quick recap: Back in February 2019, it appeared Tekashi was facing up to 47 years behind bars for racketeering, but he managed to get his sentence reduced by cooperating with prosecutors against former fellow gang members in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

Today, he posted to his Insta followers: "If they kidnapped you, stole from you, slept with your baby moms, stole millions from you, caught on the phone trying to kill you."

The post then asked if readers would 'snitch' or 'do jail time'.

Tekashi went on to unfollow the NYPD account too, leaving his 'following' count at a grand total of 0.

He even got called out by Tom Hanks' son, Chet, who posted about him on his own Instagram Story.

Chet, 29, wasn't convinced by Tekashi's brave face, saying: "Don't be fooled by social media. That dude is SCARED S***LESS but has no choice but to laugh and make light of it cuz he knows he's a marked man for the rest of his life either way.

"He literally told you on the stand that 'the gangster image was just a persona to boost my career' only to get out talking about upping 100 shots at the chicken spot? And y'all still going for it [sic]."

The posts continued: "I'd rather be broke and be able to go where I like/do as I please than have 100 billion and have to live in hiding with 24/7 security team... think about that for all you idiots calling 69 a 'GOAT' [greatest of all time] and 'legendary'.

"People see a bunch of jewelry and diamond teeth and numbers on Instagram and actually believe dude is really happy as f**k living the life... All I see is FEAR [sic]."

Tekashi responded by wishing Chet's dad Tom, who has just recovered from coronavirus, a speedy recovery.
