A company is looking for ‘Takeaway Testers’ who will be paid £1,000 to tuck into fast food favourites from the likes of McDonald’s and Greggs - in case you were in any doubt that the perfect job does exist.

UK marketplace website MaterialsMarket.com is on the look out for six testers who will help the company establish the best fast food options for tradespeople.

They’ll be tasked with sampling a range of fast food meals that have previously been voted in the top 20 by tradespeople.

Not only will the lucky candidates get £1,000 for the month-long project, but they’ll also get free scran, with the items up for sampling including a large Big Mac meal and a meatball marinara sub from Subway.

You'll be paid to eat various fast food meals, including a Big Mac.

After chowing down, the tester will be required to fill in a diary with information about how they feel after consuming the meal - they’ll be asked to comment on various factors including how full they feel, their energy levels and overall satisfaction.

The information will be fed back to MaterialsMarket.com who, alongside a nutritionist, will create a guide that showcases the best meals for tradespeople on the go.

Samuel Hunt co-founder of MaterialsMarket.com, told The Mirror: "If you head into your local Greggs or McDonald’s early morning or at lunchtime it’s very likely you’ll see tradesmen getting their fuel for the day.

"Although fast food has negative connotations, for tradespeople those meals are convenient fuel for them!

"In trade jobs you're physically put to work and as a result, burn lots of calories, so a substantial meal is a necessity to keep you full, satisfied and energised throughout the working day.

"We’re really excited to launch this experiment. As we will work with a nutritionist on the findings, we’re looking forward to sharing the best ‘fast food' meals to eat when on the job with our community. If you wouldn’t mind getting paid to test some of the UK’s favourite fast food, please apply now!"

No experience is necessary for the role, but obviously a love of fast food will help and candidates will need to be at least 18 to apply.

If you fancy applying you can do so here - you have until Friday 27 May to get your application in and those who have bagged themselves the job will be notified shortly after. Good luck.
