ABBA songwriter Björn Ulvaeus has revealed that he still remains active in the bedroom, despite being 75 years old.

The legendary musician opened up about his private life for an interview and said he has sex four times week.

During a Q&A with The Guardian, Björn was asked about how often he manages to get intimate with wife Lena.

Björn said: "I'm 75 and I can't manage more than four times a week."

Earlier this year, fellow bandmate Benny Andersson revealed that the group were preparing to release their first tune in over 35 years.

Back in 2018, the four-piece announced they were recording new music, but in February, Andersson officially confirmed it's coming this year.

Speaking to ABBAtalk, a fandom website, the 73-year-old musician confirmed the news we've all been waiting for.

He said: "They're coming this year. I'm guessing after the summer. But I can only guess, because I'm not really sure. But I would think so.

"One shouldn't promise anything but if I were to decide myself, it would be September. I can't make that decision alone. But that's what we're aiming for."

The super successful group, made up of Benny, Agnetha Fältskog, Björn, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, is set to release two new songs, 'I Still Have Faith in You' and 'Don't Shut Me Down'.

After more than 35 years, the pop group revealed they were releasing new music.

Speaking back in 2018, Björn said of the new tracks: "One of them is a pop tune, very danceable. The other is more timeless, more reflective, that is all I will say. It is Nordic sad, but happy at the same time."

He told PA: "I think that exuberant quality of the two ladies [Fältskog and Lyngstad] together singing, that makes the saddest song a bit uplifting. I think that is what happens and that [it] is very organic: [it] isn't calculated, [it] just happened that way."

Over the course of their career the group sold more than 400 million records worldwide. However, they have not given a public performance since 1986 and their last album was 1981's 'The Visitors'.

Although the band never officially broke up, they have endured a turbulent past. Anni-Frid and Benny, and Björn and Agnetha were previously married but both marriages ended in divorce.

It was thought that the band would never get back together. In 2014, Agnetha Fältskog gave an interview in which she said: "I think we have to accept that it will not happen, because we are too old and each one of us has their own life. Too many years have gone by since we stopped, and there's really no meaning in putting us together again.

"It's always nice to see each other now and then and to talk a little and to be a little nostalgic."
