A clip of a young Idris Elba giving his opinion on Pierce Brosnan's James Bond has gone viral. Watch below and keep a look out for the dude at the end of the vid:

The footage is from 1995 where cinemagoers gave their first reaction to watching GoldenEye, which was, of course, Brosnan's debut as Bond.

With Elba, constantly being linked to the role, viewers are amazed at seeing a young 23-year-old giving his verdict.

I mean, he looked like he was in his 30s, which, to be fair, is still the case.

When asked about Brosnan, Elba said: "He's got the charm and he's got all the looks, y'know what I mean?

"And he's fit, he's strong and blah, blah, blah.

"Yeah he's alright, he's alright."

Elba wasn't too famous at the time but, according to IMDb, he was already acting, working on a few projects at the time, including Sci-Fi flick, Space Precinct.

Twitter user @KevBot_007 shared the clip yesterday (20 Aug) and it's already racked up 36,600 likes and 4,339 retweets.

One user wrote: "Oh sweet. It's actor, writer, director, DJ, comedian, barista, kickboxer Idris Elba."

Whilst, a second user said: "I hope he gets the helm as the next 007. Idris is such a bad ass!"

A third simply wrote: "Future James Bond."

Brosnan has actually backed Elba to play Bond after Daniel Craig and told People: "Idris Elba comes to mind.

"Idris is such a powerful presence and such a great former voice tensity.

"He would be magnificent."

Adding wood to the fire, the infamous selfie Elba took with Craig at the Golden Globes in 2019, caused quite a stir.

The photo was captioned: "Awks....."

After the event, Elba said: "We just did it on the spur of the moment, thought it would be a laugh.

"It was a selfie.

"Didn't realise it would be picture of the year."
