The latest person Donald Trump is lashing out at? Only the ruddy Queen innit!

That's right, just a few weeks on from his trip to the UK, he's made a few digs about his meeting with the Queen - claiming that she was late and kept him waiting. He went on to explain that the delay was 'fine', adding: "It's the Queen, right? We can wait."

Trump and First Lady Melania were invited for afternoon tea with the monarch, which all sounds nice enough, although there would be no state dinner at Buckingham Palace, like Barack and Michelle enjoyed. However, media reports had claimed that the US President was late to arrive.

In fact he was accused of several breaches of protocol after leaving the Queen waiting, failing to bow before her and then walking in front of her. D'oh.

In relation to all of these less-than-flattering reports, Trump recently called out 'fake disgusting news' at a recent rally.

He started off by saying: "I have great respect for the UK, United Kingdom, great respect. People call it Britain, they call it Great Britain, they call it, they used to call it England, different parts."

Nice one, pal, thanks for clearing that one up.

"But the UK, great respect, and I was asked to have tea with the Queen, who is incredible by the way. Incredible."

Good start, eh?

Ah, but he continued: "I had landed and I'm on the ground and I'm waiting with the King's - with the Queen's guards, wonderful people. I'm waiting.

"So I was about 15 minutes early and I'm waiting with my wife and that's fine. Hey, it's the Queen, right? We can wait.

"But I'm a little early. So I then go up and meet the Queen and she is fantastic. We then go up and have tea. And I didn't know this, it was supposed to last for 15 minutes, but it lasted for like an hour because we got along. We got along."

He then claimed that the Queen liked America's First Lady and 'our First Lady liked her'.

Explaining that the Secret Service LADs weren't late ("They don't believe in being late!"), Trump added: "So here was the story by the fake news: 'The President was 15 minutes late for the Queen'. Wrong... They said I was late when I was actually early."

He also then went onto reiterate that the meeting was scheduled for 15 minutes, but it lasted for almost an hour. Why's that, Don?

Well, according to 'the fake, fake news', it was because he 'overstayed', but ACTUALLY it was because he and Liz were having such a nice time.
