Flights From Australia To Los Angeles Get Slashed To $662 Return

These are 'the cheapest flights ever seen to LA'

United Airlines has jumped onto the sale bandwagon in a bid to attract a raft of Aussie travellers to US shores.

But the American airline isn't just chopping off a token amount from the normal price tag to fly across the Pacific Ocean - things are getting serious.

United has slashed the cost of flying from Melbourne to Los Angeles to just $662 return. That is absolutely outstanding.

The deal extends to people travelling from Sydney as well, with flights just a touch more expensive at $678. But if you're not wanting to rub shoulders with A-listers in Hollywood Hills (like that would ever happen, come on), and prefer a trip to San Francisco, then United has your back.

You can fly just a little further north without spending too much extra money.

Flying from Sydney to San Francisco will set you back $687 return, while if you fly from Victoria's capital then you're looking at $670 return. Again, and we can't stress this enough, that is brilliant.

You'll have to fly to the USA between March and November this year, which could be perfect timing if you want to get away from Australia during the winter period.

Flying into LA also gives you one of the best chances at flying elsewhere across the United States, or Canada, Mexico or the rest of Latin America.

Airfares expert and I Know The Pilot founder Garth Adams said the deal won't last very long, adding: "Usually a few days but sometimes much shorter. If you click the sample dates and the prices have gone up it unfortunately means the sale has ended.

"I think this is the cheapest I have ever seen for flights to LA."

So you better be quick if you want to snag a deal before all the seats sell out, and you're left to sit in your home all winter, complaining everyone else sunning themselves and bumping into random celebrities.

You can check out all the dates and prices here.

So alert the group chat and start planning that epic trip to the US because if you save money on flights, that means more cash can be spent on a big night out.
