Grandma Who Accidentally Invited Stranger To Thanksgiving Invites Him Again
You might remember that last year, an American grandma's wrong number led to a mega heart-warming moment.
We reported last year how Arizona teenager Jamal Hinton joined grandmother Wanda Dench for Thanksgiving dinner after she mistakenly invited him over for a plate.
Now we're really chuffed to see that this may have started an amazing tradition, with the pair reuniting again for dinner this year.
In November last year, 17-year-old Jamal got a surprise invitation to Thanksgiving dinner from Wanda, who had been trying to invite her grandson Brandon instead.
After Jamal alerted his then mystery messager of the mistake, he jokingly asked if he could come over for dinner anyway. Amazingly, she said yes.
"Of course you can. That's what grandmas do...feed everyone," she replied.

The exchange was posted on Twitter by Jamal and quickly went viral, as you would expect. Wanda found herself getting so much attention from people literally wanting a piece of the pie that she reportedly changed her number.
Shortly after the story went viral, the pair finally met up in person, and Hinton was there at the table.
"She is a very sweet lady," Jamal told NBC at the time. "She told me her husband was a veteran and she always invited his friends over for dinner, so she's used to having a lot of people over."
"I just got a vibe from her that made me feel at home."
If that had been the end of it, that would have been more than enough faith restored in humanity for us. Instead, it looks like it's turned out to be just the beginning.
Posting from his Instagram account yesterday, Hinton shared two new Thanksgiving snaps with Wanda, taken this past Thursday.
You can see the pictures of the pair, with their smiling partners, below:
I guess you can say thanksgiving was one for the books :relieved:

Speaking to local newspaper the Arizona Republic, Dench said: "It was really nice having everybody here.
"We got to laugh about last year and reminisce about how it all blew up on our phone and how I had to change my number. We had a laugh and a good time."
This ongoing relationship between the two is absolutely great to see. Hopefully we're writing another article about the tradition next year!
