A husband became so sick of his missus complaining about his poor aim while using the toilet that he decided to make her try it out for herself - handing her a bucket and hose to replicate the experience.

Dad-of-two Jaimie Kramer said his wife Jess would regularly berate him for his loo habits, as he often leaves a trail of wee that she has to clean up 'again, again and again'.

It became a bit of a running joke between the couple, but 45-year-old Jaimie decided he wanted to highlight the 'plight of men' with an amusing challenge for his wife.

He told Jess, 37, that she had to try and direct all water from a hose into a bucket, in a bid to prove just how tricky it can be sometimes to get the aim right.

Jess admitted she 'totally lost' the challenge, and ended up gaining an 'entirely new respect' for her partner's difficulties.

Hilarious footage shows Jess directing the hose at two buckets before Jaimie takes one away as he 'doesn't get the luxury of two', sending the couple viral with more than two million views.

Jaimie Kramer, of Williston, Vermont, US, said: "I always joke that being a man has real problems that we take for granted.

"She was going on about me, all the boys and our inability to get every drop in and I was like 'You don't know how hard it is and what we're up against - it's not as cut and dry as you think'."

He continued: "I thought her attempt was very exemplary of what it's like living with a penis - you're going to get like 80 percent in.

"Once you understand what you're working with and where it's aiming, you can adjust but there's a couple of moments in the process where you hope, especially when it's dark out.

"I felt vindicated and the more attention the video gets, I feel like our cause is getting out there."

Science teacher Jess is the only female in a household of five men - including their male cat and dog - which has something that poses some unique challenges for her.

She said: "Whenever I would go to the bathroom and the seat would still be up and I'd notice stuff on the toilet bowl or on the floor and I'd just had to clean it up again, and again, and again.

"It became so much of a joke that it was just another offhand comment of 'had to clean up pee again'."

Jaimie, an engineer, tasked Jess with getting every single droplet into the bucket during a family BBQ, with a friend filming.

Jess admitted she had an 'entirely new respect' for how men urinate, adding: "I still think if you have that problem you can clean up after yourself."

She posted the clip on TikTok, where it garnered more than 2.2 million views, comments and shares.

Jess said many male commenters flocked to say they'll be urging the women in their lives to try it out too.

Jaimie added: "I think it's so funny because it's relatable - everybody on the planet understands this conversation and challenge, even if you don't speak English - one look at the video and everybody understands what's happening.

"It's relatable because I feel like everybody in the world either has a penis, or knows somebody who does."
