Here's a story that will make you feel completely inadequate. A six-year-old boy as defeated the odds by doing 3,270 press ups in two hours, winning his family an apartment in the process.

Footage shows the lad completing his push ups. Although he may pause for a second - I bet that lactic acid is making his muscles sore - he cracks on and smashes the record.

Ibrahim Lyanov, from Novy Redant, Russia, pulled off the incredible feat as he entered the Russian Book of Records.

Not only did he win the new home for his family, he also set a new record for the most press ups in one continuous attempt. The legend did a total of 4,445.

The apartment was given to the boy by a local sports club called Chingiz. He had been training there every single day with his dad to help him win the competition and still goes twice a week.

By the time he's older he will be absolutely ripped - I doubt it's the last we'll be seeing of little Ibrahim.

He's also not the first one to bag a massive prize by showing off his sporting prowess. Last year, a five-year-old boy was handed a brand-new Mercedes after he, managed to do 4,105 press-ups without stopping.

Rakhim Kurayev was handed the keys to the white Merc by Ramzan Kadyrov - a close lieutenant to Russian president Vladmir Putin - after he was able to power through two hours and 25-minutes of press-ups.

Now the little dude, nick-named the 'Chechen Schwarzenegger' for obvious reasons, is going to attempt to repeat the mind-boggling feat to try and bag himself a world record - because a brand-new Mercedes he's not old to drive isn't good enough, apparently.

According to local reports, Kadyrov told the eerily hench child: "Let your father drive you around in this, you're worth of riding a white Mercedes."

The paper also reported that they did not know if public funds paid for the cost of the car, which is said to be worth around £28,000, or if Kadyrov put his hands in his pockets for the prize.

Kadyrov added: "The boy did the impossible. We agreed to meet at a fitness centre and have a workout together."

Speaking about the car, he said: "From now on his father will be able to drive the boy to workouts without hiring a taxi."

Looks like Russia's not big enough for the two of them, will the Chechen Schwarzenegger try to defend his title? Only time will tell.
