A man from Wisconsin US broke his own Guinness World Record for eating more McDonald's Big Macs than anyone else. Watch him eat his 32,000th Big Mac below:

Donald Gorske, 67, previously won the title for 'most Big Mac burgers eaten in a lifetime' in 1999.

Twenty-two years on, his total burger count is a whopping 32,340.

Since 1972, Donald has been consuming an average of two Big Macs a day.

Speaking to Guinness World Records, he explained his reasoning behind the burger ritual.

He said: "I love hamburgers like no other food. I am closing in on 50 years of eating them next year, after eating a Big Mac every single day.

"This is a McDonald's Big Mac - it's the best sandwich in the world! When I like something, I stick with it all the time."

His journey to becoming a world record holder started when he got his first car on 17 May 1972.

He said: "I drove straight to McDonald's, got my first three Big Macs, then got in the car and ate them. In that moment I said, 'I'm going to probably eat these for the rest of my life'.

"I threw the cartons in the back of my seat and started counting them from day one."

Donald clearly doesn't joke around about his fast-food lifestyle and has kept every single container and receipt since that day.

He even keeps his paperwork in boxes and pouches, in order of year, whilst marking a daily calendar to keep everything in check.

Donald's relationships have also circled around his Maccies obsession.

His wife Mary Corske said: "Don Gorske did not tell me about his Big Mac obsession when we first met, I'm not sure It was quite an obsession then, he ate Big Macs every day. Sometimes I would bring him a Big Mac, I just didn't realise it would go on forever."

Donald says that, in order to keep healthy, he substitutes his general meals with the two burgers and always skipping out on the fries.

He also walks about six miles per day to maintain his health.

After posting a video of his record-breaking feat on Facebook, users were quick to congratulate him.

One user wrote: "Way to go Don, You are my HERO...!"

While a second added: "I wish I could eat like that!"
