Man With Name Tattooed Across Neck Arrested After Trying To Give Cops Fake Name

A man in Toronto, Illinois, was arrested after he allegedly gave police a fake name - despite the fact he has a large tattoo of his own name across his neck.
Mattoon Police interviewed Matthew Bushman, 36, on 8 October in connection with a forgery case they were investigating.
Bushman gave the cops a false name and date of birth, probably because there was an existing warrant out for his arrest.
The only downside for Bushman was that he has his own name branded onto his skin with a large neck tattoo that says 'Matty B'.
Bushman was then arrested for obstructing justice and taken to Coles County Jail.
On the Mattoon Police Department Facebook page, a post explained: "Mattoon Police arrested Matthew C Bushman, 36 years of age of Mansfield, IL, for the offense of Obstructing Justice. The arrest occurred on 10/11/2019 at 6pm at the Coles County Jail.
"The charge alleges that on 10/08/19 MPD was investigating a forgery involving Mr. Bushman, during which time Mr. Bushman provided police with a false name and date of birth to avoid arrest on an active Peoria Co warrant.
"Mr. Bushman was taken to the Coles County Jail."
While Bushman's prominent tattoo was in this case incriminating, it's nothing compared to the self-proclaimed mobster in New Zealand who got the word 'notorious' tattooed across most of his face in black and red.
The tat even caught the attention of rapper 50 Cent, who was unimpressed - sharing the photo on social media with the caption: "What the f*** is really going on man. I wonder why he can't get a job?"
It belongs to Puk Kireka, who is a member of the Mongrel Mob and has had two stints in prison.
Kireka initially worried that inking would make it difficult to get a job, but, saying he was determined, Kireka eventually found a role within the sporting industry as a personal trainer after gym owner Robbie Gale gave him a chance.
Speaking to Stuff, Kireka said: "I feel pretty blessed, for someone to just reach out. [Gale]'s gone and given me an opportunity that I need.
"He wants me to stay on the straight and narrow and not fall back into bad habits."
Gale added: "Everyone judged Puk at first glance without taking the time to get to know the real man underneath the mask.
"I think if we all commit to helping just one person in their life, we could solve a lot of the problems that exist in our society."
