Man’s Starbucks Order Is So Ridiculous It Makes Worker Want To Quit

A Starbucks employee has shared a photo of a customer's uber-specific order, which was so painstaking it left him wanting to quit.

I mean, we all know a hot drink from Starbucks is rarely just a black filter coffee or a peppermint tea - with many customers preferring to opt for all the bells and whistles of whipped cream, specialist milks and sugary syrups.

But rather than asking for a simple mocha drizzle or extra shot of coffee, this person took it a little too far by requesting no less than 13 add-ons or alterations.

A Twitter user called Josie (@ProjectJosiee) was the lucky barista serving 'Edward' that day, and took a photo of the order to share online.

"On today's episode of why I wanna quit my job," Josie tweeted.

The sticker on the plastic coffee cup shows the customer's lengthy order on 1 May, which is as follows:

Vt Crml Crnch Frap

5 Banana
Ex Caramel Drizzle
Extra Whip
Extra Ice
Ex Cinn Dol Top
7 pumps Add Dk Crml Sauce
Ex Caramel Crunch
1 pump Honey Blend
Ex Sltd Bm Btr
5 pumps Frap Rst Cof
7 Add Frapp Chips
Heavy Cream
Double Blended

My teeth hurt just looking at that.

The tweet has since gone viral, racking up more than 110,000 likes and thousands of retweets.

Many coffee shop workers shared photos of the similarly long-winded orders they've encountered, while other people were just baffled by the drink.

"I don't even know what half of that stuff is, I worked there like 10 years ago when there wasn't as many options lol," one person commented.

Another said: "Phhhtt... that's not a coffee order - that's a dessert recipe!"

A third wrote: "I knew it had to be an app order. No one would order that out loud making eye contact."

In fact, that method appeared to be surprisingly common, with one person sharing a screenshot of their go-to order, admitting: "Order this via mobile and avoid eye contact when I pick it up because I hate inconveniencing the barista; these types of people are monsters."

Another social media user takes another, even simpler approach - borne out of blind panic.

They wrote: "The rare times I have gone to Starbucks I panicked and ALWAYS get a caramel frap even though I'd like to try something new. I've done this for years, I still haven't even memorised wtf size is a venti and you're telling me ppl get this like this!? Disgusting."
