Police officers are on the lookout for a woman who has allegedly been posting dog poo through the letterboxes of Donald Trump supporters.
As you might imagine, the locals over in Maine are not happy about being targeted by the offender, who has deliberately gone for homes with Trump signs in their front gardens.
As well as posting crap into Republican's mailboxes, WGME reports that the unnamed woman also 'defaced Trump signs' that residents put up ahead of the November US election.
Her antics are alleged to have taken place on Sunday and Monday (September 13 and 14), leading to the worried locals calling the cops after discovering the excrement alongside their post. Grim.

Hampden Police are now on the hunt for the suspect, having released an image of her on her bike and asking for information in a bid to stop her before she strikes again.
The photo shows a middle-aged woman with short brown hair, wearing a purple top, denim shorts, a black mask and a pair of Crocs.
Some of the residents in the area have taken to Facebook to help the police catch the offender.

"I wonder if she will get federal charges for messing with mailboxes," wrote one commenter. "Isn't it illegal on some level to mess with political signs too?"
Another said: "What is wrong with people, can't wait for 2021. I am so over all this cr*p, no pun intended."
The woman's move marks yet another controversial moment in the upcoming 2020 election, which sees Trump vie for another term as President of the United States alongside Democrat nominee Joe Biden
