Animal-lover Ricky Gervais has decided he's keeping the cat he and partner Jane Fallon have been fostering.
The After Life star shared the news on Instagram, just a few days after the couple 'temporarily' took the cat in, while it waited for its forever home.
Ricky, 59, posted a photo of the adorable feline, writing: "Quick update on the cat we're fostering: She keeps getting on my lap and staring at me. We're keeping her."
It seems that the pair got a bit too attached to their new house guest, and now it looks like she'll be part of the family.
Ricky's partner, author Jane Fallon, also shared the news.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "BIG NEWS!!! This will come as no surprise to anyone. We've fallen in love with Catkins - and her with us we think - and we're keeping her!
"We're going to rename her. (She was only called Catkins by the rescue). Any suggestions?"

Ricky's beloved cat Ollie died back in March, following a sudden downturn in health.
The comedian shared the news on Twitter, describing his cat of more than 16 years as the 'sweetest little soul' he ever knew.
Just had to say goodbye to the sweetest little soul I've ever known. RIP Ollie

Jane also wrote a touching tribute to the family pet, who she called her 'beautiful sidekick':
I have awful news. My smart, funny, feisty, beautiful sidekick of the last 16 & a half years @myleftfang has passed away after a sudden down turn in her health at the weekend. My heart is broken in two. I have no idea what I'm going to do without her by my side. #Ollie pic.twitter.com/UOF1Phm5sq

Tributes and kind messages poured in for Ollie, who even posthumously trended on Twitter.
Ricky thanked his fans at the time, saying: "A heartfelt thank you for all your lovely tributes to @myleftfang. I can't quite bring myself to respond at the moment, but your kindness is very much appreciated."
