Thrill-seekers looking to fill the Black Mirror-shaped hole in their lives are in for a treat thanks to Thorpe Park's latest attraction.

This week, the theme park introduced a brand new ride based on Charlie Brooker's hit sci-fi TV show.

But instead of a rollercoaster, the Black Mirror Labyrinth is a maze that utilises cutting-edge technology to leave visitors questioning their own sense of reality.

Per the official description: "Get lost as you enter a hypnotic maze using cutting-edge visual technology and sensory-defying environments.

"Will you keep your grip on reality or will you lose yourself in the mainframe as this unpredictable digitised dimension reveals an uneasy truth that manipulates and displaces your very existence."

Black Mirror has remained at the forefront of TV innovation, having experimented with viewer interaction with the 2018 choose-your-own-adventure episode 'Bandersnatch'.

However, the latest attraction marks the show's first live experience, promising to reference some of the best bits from the Netflix drama while allowing guests to delve into the dystopian dimension IRL.

And the good news is you won't even have to wait that long to try it out for yourself, as the ride is due to launch at Thorpe Park resorts on 27 March.

The Black Mirror Labyrinth will be introduced as part of HYPERSpring, a celebration of the park's 2020 season launch.

From 4 April to 31 May, visitors can take part in unlocking cryptic code phrases as part of Cosmic 6 - a brand-new spring challenge which involves riding six of Thorpe Park's top attractions.

Those who unlock the code can enjoy the 2020 live show while indulging themselves with limited edition digital delicacies available at select outlets across the island.

The experience is also available to those who attend the SuperCharged Summer, a package involving some of the UK's wettest water rides.

"Tantalise your taste buds at our Island food festival and come face to face with our team of Hydration Heroes for an extra splash of adrenaline," continues the description.

"Plus, the digital dimension has evolved in Labyrinth - will you lose your head or can you navigate your way out of this multi-sensory maze?"

So if you can't wait until the next season of Black Mirror rolls around, book yourself a spot today.

Tickets are available now on the Thorpe Park website, where advanced day passes are going for just £33 - £22 cheaper than the box office price.
