Woman Can’t Believe What She Looked Like For Entire Date

A woman has shared a video from a date at a theme park, saying she's 'still recovering' after realising what she looked like that day - having smudged her lipstick all over her face. Watch:

TikTok user Emily Tedford (@etedford1) posted the clip with the caption: "Remembering the time I went on a date and didn't realise I looked like this the entire day."

She wrote alongside the clip: "I'm still recovering."

The footage shows Emily on a ride at a Six Flags theme park somewhere in the US, having removed her mask before it started to shoot a short video, as her date smiles to the camera.

Pulling down her mask, she reveals that her bright pink lipstick has completely smudged all over her face - where it clearly remained, as a later video from the day reveals.

Her original video has gone viral after being viewed 4.2 million times, with thousands of comments.

Many people said she needn't have worried as she still looked great, with one writing: "At least you're still pretty lol."

Another said: "First I was like it can't be that bad she's overreacting and then I saw IT REALLY IS THAT BAD."

One other person just advised sagely: "Don't wear lipstick with mask."

When another TikToker asked how did took a video of herself and didn't notice the makeup mishap, she replied in a follow-up video: "I was taking quick vids and putting my phone away before the ride started."

It also looked like it may have been a sunny day, no doubt obscuring the image she will have seen on her phone.

Confirming that also played a part, she said: "There was a lot of sun, I couldn't see the screen."

Emily also added: "Taking off your mask for a quick sec to take a vid is ok especially if you're already exchanging germs with your 6 feet."

Someone else had also commented on the video to say: "He wouldn't have had to tell me. I would have noticed when I was recording us."

But Emily simply replied: "Was at Six Flags/Couldn't really see my screen with the sun.

"Was taking vids and putting my phone away [real quick] cause the ride was about to take off."

In a romantic third point, she also added: "I was paying attention to my sweet bf!"
