A woman has been arrested after mailing 180 nude photos of two different men.

Sarah Pharis, 32, was arrested on 28 December after allegedly sending 150 images of a man to at least 30 people.

She was released later the same day on a $75,000 (£55,000) bail.

She was arrested for a second time on Thursday 14 January, with cops from Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office saying there was a second man whose private images Pharis had also allegedly mailed out.

She was charged with an additional 30 counts of non-consensual disclosure of a private image.

She was sent home on a $15,000 (£11,000) bail the same day.

Police say Pharis travelled from her home in Louisiana to Texas to send the letters.

Speaking to KPLC, chief deputy Stitch Guillory said: "A number of different people contacted him [the victim] and said, 'we've received something through the mail and it has photographs of you.

"It just so happened that the post mark on some of the mail they received came from Texas - the Houston area."

One of the victims, who has not been named, told Fox that Pharis had sent out 'hundreds' of photos of him doing 'lewd acts, as well as letters defaming him' and claims she got hold of the photos 'through Facebook'.

He says she had access to his Facebook account as she had created it for him several years ago.

Chief deputy Guillory warned people not to give out their Facebook log in details to others.

A shocked neighbour of Pharis, told Fox: "I didn't really think that she would be capable of that. She seemed like a down to earth person.

"I don't know what made her do that."

While another said: "I think it's crazy. I don't know what would push somebody to do that."

Pharis is now facing 180 counts of non-consensual disclosure of a private image and is currently out on bail ahead of her next appearance in court.

Investigators have not released any details about the relationship between Pharis and the two men or who she sent the letters to.
