A woman has shared a story of how her intuition managed to save her and her friend from potential danger after a 'scary' encounter with some men.

The woman - called Aili - shared her story on TikTok, and told of how she and her friend were out for a few drinks and having a great time until two men interrupted them.

The video has now been viewed more than 4.5 million times, and should act as a warning to anyone about taking drinks from strangers.

On her account @aili.likes.adventure, she explained how the two men approached her and her friend and asked to buy them drinks, when they declined, they continues on with their night, thinking nothing more of it.

However, the men didn't take no for an answer, and moved to the table beside them, before getting up to dance near to the women.

That's when things started to get really scary.

Aili explained: "We continued on with our night and ended up hitting the dance floor. I've never gotten to dance with this friend before and we were having the time of our lives until those men showed up on the dance floor.

"It wasn't really a big deal because we just told everyone who asked to dance with us that we're gay and we're just trying to dance with each other, but these men were persistent.

"By the end of the day it's just me and my friend dancing together and the two guys from earlier move up to us and shove beers in our hands."

She continued: "They didn't say we bought you these drinks, they didn't say did you want to have them, they just put them in our hands.

"My friend started drinking hers immediately and as I put mine to my lips a voice dropped in my head and it said 'do not drink'.

"So instead of drinking it, I put it back in his hand and I said, 'you drink it'.

"He was so stunned."

"He literally backed away and all he could say was, no. So I pushed it and again I said 'Take a drink' and he said 'No, I got it for you'.

"He wouldn't even take the drink from me, so I immediately stopped my friend from drinking, grabbed her by the arm and said we're leaving."

They tried to leave, and Aili had to push one of the men as they went, but she started to notice that something seemed to be wrong with her friend.

"My friend went from being able to dance with me and talk to me, to stumbling around barely able to form a sentence," she added.

The men continued to hang around whilst their Uber arrived, but thankfully nothing more happened.

Aili concluded: "We got home safe last night, but I know there's so many women out there who don't, so please take care of them and always, always trust your intuition.

"If something doesn't feel right, it's because it's not right."

There you have it folks - trust your intuition, and take care when accepting drinks - or anything, for that matter - from strangers.
