Woman Threatens To Sue Dental Practice Who Refused To See Her For Not Wearing Mask

The woman also said it was 'against the law' for the worker to take her temperature

A woman in the US threatened to sue a dental practice after they told her she wouldn't be seen unless she wore a face mask.

The unnamed woman was filmed by a fellow patient who was sat in the waiting room while it all kicked off.

In the clip, the blonde woman can be seen stood in front of the dentist reception area and is loudly refusing to wear a mask. She tells the member of staff: "You're going to work on my teeth, not my nose. I don't wear a mask to have my teeth cleaned."

The worker insists that, yep, she does need to pop on a mask if she wants to be seen by the dentist, which prompts her to clamp her hand over her mouth and say: "Fine, I'll cover my mouth. May I be seated now?"

At this point, the member of staff points out that she's also failed to agree to a number of other measures the dental surgery has in place, explaining: "You're not filling out the forms or letting us take your temperature. It's about protecting our staff."

Upon hearing this the blonde woman gets particularly irate, pointing at the member of staff and telling her: "You can't take my temperature. It's against the law - you're not an MD."

As the staff member continues to insist it won't be possible for her to see a dentist, she gets more and more p***ed off.

"I have a right to sue you for harassing me," she tells the worker. "The manager, and the entire company.

"I do have that right and I talked to my attorney before I came here. Does he want that to happen? I've waited long enough for my teeth to be cleaned, OK. Let's get this done."

The worker calmly tells the woman that the owner of the clinic had said no.

As you can imagine, this didn't go down too well, either with the woman shooting back: "I want to hear him. Get him on the phone. He has to send me, in written writing, the policy. I can do what I want, I'm free, it's not a law... it's a dental office."

This lady isn't the first we've seen outright refusing to wear a mask despite the rules - earlier this week, a woman sat on the floor in the middle of Costco and said it was her 'constitutional right' not to have to wear one.
