Nintendo Switch is the perfect way to get the whole family involved as the festive season kicks off

If you’re looking for the ultimate Christmas present ahead of the silly season chaos, look no further, as Nintendo Switch is offering cool brand-new games as well as some timely favourites.

To kick-start the festive season, check out this console, as you’ll be dying to get your hands on the games they have in store for you.

Nintendo Switch supports local and online (requires paid membership) multiplayer and offers three play modes - TV Mode, Tabletop Mode and Handheld Mode, so it can transform from a home console to a portable system in a snap.

Whether you’re trying to indulge in a little me time or looking to get the whole family involved, Nintendo Switch is bound to light up the festivities.

These games can also have up to four players exploring the world of Paldea together at one time - which is a first for the series.

But if you want to see what all the hype is about, try your hand at Splatoon 3 - one of the best-selling video games to come out of 2022.

Splatoon 3 takes place in the heart Splatsville, a sun-scorched desert inhabited by battle-hardened Inklings and Octolings.

The game includes Turf War - a 4v4 battle where two teams compete to ink the most turf so you can channel your inner Jackson Pollock. It’s available in multiplayer modes such as Regular Battles, Private Battles, and Splatfest Battles.

However, for solo games, they have a wicked story mode that will keep you on your toes in every chapter.

If you’re looking for a versatile hybrid console, ensure you can get your hands on Nintendo Switch before the year wraps up, so you can play anytime, anywhere.
