Noel Gallagher Wants To Be Dead In 20 Years

The singer isn't too optimistic about the future of the planet

Noel Gallagher says he wants to be dead in 20 years.

The ex Oasis guitarist isn't known for having a particularly sunny disposition, and unsurprisingly, it turns out he's not too optimistic when it comes to the future of the planet.

During an interview on Radio One, the 54-year-old was asked about ageing and revealed that another two decades should suffice.

He said: "Do I want to live another 50 years? No. Just think how s*** the world is now. I would rather not live through it.

"At 75 I want to go."

But that doesn't mean he's gonna fade away anytime soon.

Noel told the host that he still has a lot of great music to make and wants to work with some icons before he retires.

He said: "My plan for the next ten years is to make three great albums."

Adding: "I would like to write a song with Johnny Marr and meet Bob Dylan.

"I would like to write and perform with Neil Young,’ he shared.

"I would like to score the soundtrack to a Quentin Tarantino box office smash and play a round of golf with a therapist. There is not a great deal I yearn for."

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Noel took aim at legendary Swedish pop group ABBA.

It comes after it was revealed that the band wouldn't going out on the road to perform in front of fans.

Noel said: "I would not consider gigs with me as a hologram. No, there would have to be an audience involved.

"You need a crowd in front of you. It’s a human interaction, and if you don’t have that it is meaningless."

Last year, he made headlines after he hit out at 'plain' Prince William and his 'snowflake' brother.

Speaking to The Sun to promote new High Flying Birds greatest hits album Back the Way We Came, he said: "Prince William. I feel that f***ing lad's pain.

"He's got a f***ing younger brother shooting his f***ing mouth off with s*** that is just so unnecessary. I'd like to think I was always the William.

The ex Oasis guitarist says he still has great music to make, though.

"It's funny though, doing promo for this, it's funny how they obsess about it around the world.

"I did a week here of Australian promo down the phone and Zoom and all that and they were like, 'So Noel Gallagher, f***ing ten years of High Flying Birds! It's been amazing! And f***ing Oasis! But what we really want to know is, how much of a c*** is Prince Harry?'

"And I'm just like, 'I don't know mate. I don't know them.'"

Presumably feeling as though he didn't stick his neck out quite enough, Noel continued: "But Prince Harry is coming across like a typical f***ing woke snowflake, f***ing a******e.

"Just don't be f***ing dissing your family because there's no need for it.

"This is what happens when you get involved with Americans. As simple as that."
